The country sees high humidity (90% in the morning and 60% in the afternoon), plentiful rain and temperatures range from 22 °C to 34 °C throughout the year.

It has been known for the humidity levels to reach 100% during the heavier, more prolonged rains.

Culture

The culture of Singapore is a combination of Asian and European cultures. Influenced by Malay, South Asian, East Asian, and Eurasian cultures, Singaporehas been dubbed as a country where "East meets West", "Easy Asia" and "Garden city".

Singapore is a cosmopolitan society where people live harmoniously and interaction among different races are commonly seen. The pattern of Singapore stems from the inherent cultural diversity of the island.

The immigrants of the past have given the place a mixture of Malay, Chinese, Indian, and European influences, all of which have intermingled.
