Rules Committee 05-04-2006

The Rules Committee meeting under the chairmanship of Sheikh Talal Fahad Al-Sabah, was held in Bangkok on 5th of April 2006.   The meeting was also attended by Mr. Husain Al-Musallam, Director General OCA.

In order to keep abreast with the ever changing sports developments, the members approved various amendments to the OCA Constitution, which will be ratified by the OCA Executive Board and General Assembly subsequently.

The Committee also unanimously approved the sanctions imposed by the OCA disciplinary commission on athletes who tested positive during the 1st Asian Indoor Games in Bangkok and the 3rd West Asian Games in Doha.
