45th OCA Executive Board Meeting 04-03-2006

The 45th OCA Executive Board Meeting, Chaired by H.E. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Sabah, President OCA successfully concluded in Kuwait on 4th March 2006. The meeting was a great success which was also attended by our counterparts from the African Continent i.e. Genl. Palenfo, President ANOCA, Mr. Gustavo Conceicao, Secretary General and Mr. Patrick Chamunda, the Treasurer of ANOCA.

The highlights of the meeting were:

The signing of the Host City Contract between the OCA and

a) the City of Bali for hosting Ist Asian Beach Games in 2008;

b) the City’s of Hanoi & Hochiminh for hosting the 3rd Asian Indoor Games in 2009;

c) the City of Almaty for hosting the 7th Winter Asian Games in 2011.

And also the Gold Order conferred by Mr. Komil Yusupov, President of the International Kurash Federation on H.E. Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Sabah, President OCA.
