The overall presentation was good. DAGOC has brought a number of skilled professionals with previous games experience on board. This has resulted in improved understanding of crucial areas that need to be addressed. Additionally, DAGOC overall plan seems to be solidifying into something tangible that is starting to demonstrate an understanding of the scope of what the ASIAN Games will require. Below are listed several areas of continuing concern of OCA that need to be monitored and work closely with DAGOC to find solution for the success of the 15th Asian Games.

Sports Programme for the Games will be finalized during the 23rd OCA General Assembly scheduled in Doha on July 1, 2004.

UNIFORMS-No clear answer was delivered regarding the uniforms for the overall games structure. No plans, designs or company was offered that is serving this purpose. In order to be successful and deliver a consistent look of the games we feel that DAGOC needs to address this matter as soon as possible.

Chairman of Qatar Airways informed the house that expansion work at Doha international airport is in progress which will be completed within 8 – 10 months.

After the meeting, their was a press conference of Chairman Mr. Takeda where he expressed Committees gratitude and happiness for several mile stones DAGOC has been achieved during the last Coordination Committee meeting held in Doha on November 15, 2004.

Coordination Committee also paid a visit to the Asian Games Village where construction is already launched.  DAGOC provided a mockup unit of Apartment where athletes will be lived during the Games.  One apartment consists of 4 bedrooms, living area, kitchen and 5 toilets.  The Committee fully praised the facilities in apartment where Asian Games athletes would be the first users.
