OCA Award of Merit  12–11-2005

H.E. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, President OCA presented the OCA Award of Merit to H.E. Mr. Suwat Liptapanlop, Deputy Prime Minister & Chairman of the Ist Asian Indoor Games Organizing Committee and H.E. General Thammarak Isarangura, Defense Minister of Thailand and former Tourism Minister.  These 2 awards were given during the Welcome Party held immediately after the opening ceremony on 12th Nov.

H.E. President OCA also conferred the OCA Award of Merit on H.E. Mr. Thaksin Shinawatra, Prime Minister of Thailand in a ceremony held at the Govt. House on 12th Nov 2005.

The awards were conferred in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the realization and successful conduct of the Ist Asian Indoor Games in Bangkok from 12th to 19th of November 2005.
