Chefs de
Mission meeting for the 1st Asian Indoor Games held at
Hotel Radisson Bangkok on September 26 & 27, 2005. 38
NOCs have already confirmed their participation in this
first ever edition of this Games. OCA has initiated the
Indoor Asian Games to promote competitions of those
sports which are not included in the Summer and Winter
Asian Games. The following sports (121 events) are in
the programme for the first edition which will be held
in Thailand from November 12 – 19, 2005.

The sports
will be held in the following provinces:

Phuket
In order
to promote this Games and allow all OCA Family’s
participation, the Organizing Committee will accept the
entry confirmation till October 12, 2005 from the
remaining NOCs.
The
Opening and Closing Ceremonies will be held at Indoor
Stadium Hua Mark. Chefs de Mission visited the sport
facilities in Bangkok, Suphanbury and Chonbury and
discussed the various aspects concerning the
organization of the Games with the Organizing Committee.
