The 5th Coordination Commission Meeting 05-06-2005

The 5th Coordination Commission Meeting between the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and The Doha Asian Games Organising Committee (DAGOC) was held in Doha on 5 June 2005, at the Doha Sheraton Hotel. The meeting revolved around the six month progress DAGOC has achieved in preparation for hosting the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006 in addition to reviewing the action plan for the coming six months.

 

Progress in domains such as accommodation, transportation, venues, and other organisational issues, was organised by DAGOC officials, who gave detailed presentations of what has been achieved in these areas to date.

 

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Tsunekazu Takeda, Chairman of the Asian Games Coordination Commission OCA, Mr. Mutaleb Ahmed, Director General OCA, Mr. Husain Almusallam, Dy. Director General and Technical Director OCA and Mr. Hemasiri Fernando Chairman, OCA Culture & Education Committee also attended the meeting
