The South Asia
Regional Forum under the auspices of the OCA and Olympic
Solidarity was held in New Delhi on 12th and 13th of February
2005 at the Taj Mansingh Hotel.
Representatives
from Member countries of South Asia, namely, India, Pakistan,
Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bhutan, Nepal were present.
The OCA was represented by Raja Randhir Singh, Secretary
General OCA and Mr. Husain Al-Musallam, Technical Director
OCA.
Mr. James
Macleod and Mr. Oliver Niamkey presented the detailed Olympic
Solidarity projects and programmes for the Quadrennial
2005-2008. Presentations were also made by Mr. Herb Perez on
Talent Identification, Mr. Ali Al-Marri on Crisis Management,
Mr. Mahmood Khalifa on OCA Anti-Doping Rules and Mr. Vinod
Tiwari on Asian Athletes Growth in the Olympic Games.
