2014 Asian Games 01-11-2004

The Olympic Council of Asia is extremely pleased to announce that it has received intent from 3 of its Member NOCs to host the 17^th Asian Games in 2014. The 3 NOCs who have expressed their desire to host the Games are:

1. India
2. Jordan
3. U.A.E.

The OCA will officially open the bids for the 2014 Asia Games in 2005 and it is expected that the games will be allotted at least 8 years before the commencement of the Games in 2014.

The 15^th Asian Games will be held in Doha (Qatar) in December 2006 and the 16^th Asian Games in Guangzhou (China) in 2010.
