First Prestige Partner for the Guangzhou Asian Games on Board

In a major milestone towards the organization of the 16th Asian Games in November 2010 in Guangzhou, an agreement was signed between the Olympic Council of Asia, Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee (GAGOC) and the Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. Ltd. (GAG) bringing on board GAG as the first official Prestige Partner of the 16th Asian Games.

The signature ceremony took place in Guangzhou on 24th of April 2008 and was attended by the Governor of Guangdong H.E. Mr. Huang Hua and the Mayor of Guangzhou H.E. Mr. Zhang Guangning. The agreement on behalf of the OCA was signed by Mr. Timothy Fok, Vice President OCA. 

The ceremony Guangzhou Automobile Group is one of the largest automobile companies in China and the OCA is extremely proud to be associated with GAG.

In the coming months both GAGOC and the OCA hope to have few other major international and local companies on board as official partners and sponsors of the 16th Asian Games.
