DG OCA visits NOC of Japan 19-03-2008

Mr. Musallam also visited the Japanese Olympic Committee (JOC) and met with Mr. Tsunekazu Takeda, President JOC and also other Executive Board Members of JOC and discussed with them various programmes concerning further cooperation between OCA and JOC.

During his trip to Japan Mr. Musallam also visited various sporting facilities and also the new national sports complex in Tokyo and expressed his great admiration for the state of the art complex. It is the biggest sporting complex all over the world and was opened on 2nd February 2008. It consists of 500 rooms for players, dinning area for 350 persons.  It has also has primary and secondary schools, hospitals, Library and laboratory.  It also houses 25 sporting surfaces for different sports.

The JOC offered the services of the complex for the use of OCA for its developmental activities.
