Visit of OCA Delegation to Oman 10-01-2008

Mr. Husain Al-Musallam Director General OCA visited Muscat, Oman the host city of the 2nd Asian Beach Games along with Mr. Wei Jizhong, Chairman of the OCA Sports Committee.

The OCA delegation met H.E. Mr. Masoud Al-Sunaidy, President of the NOC of Oman and Mr. Habib Macki, Vice President NOC of Oman and discussed various issues concerning the organization of the 2nd Asian Beach Games.

During the course of the meeting the DG OCA also put forward a proposal to use the 2009 GCC football Cup as a test event for the 2nd Asian Beach Games and that the GCC football cup should be organized under the supervision of the Asian Beach Games Organizing committee to in order for the members to obtain first hand knowledge of organizing major events.
