The 23rd OCA
General Assembly successfully concluded in Doha today the 1st of
July 2004. The meeting was attended by all the 45 member NOCs
of the OCA. Alongside the General Assembly the OCA Executive
Board met on the 30th of June and the 8 Standing Committees held
their meetings on 29th of June, 2004.
The highlight of
the meeting was the election of the City of Guangzhou from China
to host the 16th Asian Games in 2010. The detailed decisions of

The meeting was
chaired by H.H. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, President of OCA.
