OCA/OS Regional Forum for East Asian NOCs began
at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Tokyo on today, June
17, 2007. Regional Forums became a tradition in
the calendar of events of OCA which is being
held in 5 different zones of Asia. The main
theme of this year’s forum is centered around
NOC's Games preparation; with specific focus
being placed on the XXIX Olympiad in Beijing
2008 and the 2nd Asian Indoor Games in Macau
2007.
Chef de Mission for Beijing 2008 and Macau 2007
from the NOCs in the East Asian zone is
participating in the Forum. Majority of the IOC
Members in East Asian zone also attending the
Forum in Tokyo.
Japanese Olympic Committee made arrangements to
witness the annual Olympic Concert for the
participants.
