Mr. Yu Zaiqing nominated as Vice President of OCA 18-07-2006

Mr. Yu Zaiqing, Vice President of the Chinese Olympic Committee has been nominated by the President of the COC as the Vice President of OCA from Guangzhou the Host City of the 2010 Asian Games.  This nomination will take effect immediately after the culmination of the 15th Asian Games in Doha on 15th of December 2006.

Mr. Zaiqing is an already existing Member of the OCA Executive Board as the Vice President from Changchun the Host City of the 6th Asian Winter Games.   Mr. Zaiqing is also a member of the IOC Executive Board.

The OCA Congratulates Mr. Zaiqing on this appointment and is extremely confident that the OCA Executive Board as well as the Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee will greatly benefit from his appointment.
