OCA DG visited Changchun 18-06-2006

 

In order to oversee the preparations being made for the successful hosting of the 6th Asian Winter Games in Changchun in 2007, Mr. Husain Al Musallam, OCA Director General visited the Changchun City on June 18 – 19, 2006.  Mr. Musallam met with Ms. An Li, Secretary General of the Changchun 2007 Organizing Committee and other dignitaries who have explained the preparations being made for the successful staging of the Asian Games.

 

From July 25 – 26 this year, OCA Medical Committee Sub Commission will meet in Changchun for the preparations for Games Medical and Anti Doping arena.  Chefs de Mission meeting will be held on October 28 – 29, 2006.  The Games will be held from January 28 – February 4, 2007.

 

OCA DG expressed his satisfaction for the progress being made by the Organizing Committee and hope that Changchun will host a very successful Asian Winter Games.
