Hanoi 2019
The 2019 Asian Games will be hosted by Hanoi, Vietnam, as announced on November 8, 2012 in Macau during 31st OCA General Assembl, after beating Surabaya, Indonesia.

Originally, the Games were scheduled for 2018. However, in the Olympic Council of Asia's General Assembly in Singapore on July 3, 2009, the committee decided to move the Games within one year before the Summer Olympics Games, this meant that the 18th Asian Games will now be held in 2019.
