The 16th edition of Sporting Asia, June 2012, is now available for download from the OCA website. The printed version will be distributed shortly to the National Olympic Committees, IOC and other members of the Olympic Family, as well as media. The front cover of the new edition features the flame-lighting ceremony for the 3rd Asian Beach Games, which will run from June 16-22 at Haiyang, Shandong province, in China. The Games will offer 49 gold medals in 13 sports.

Sporting Asia also reports from Moscow on the election of the OCA President, H.E. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah, as President of ANOC, and gathers comments from around the globe.

The Women and Sport movement also features prominently, as does the Olympic Solidarity/OCA Regional Forums held in Oman and Malaysia at the end of April.

A colourful six-page update on the OCA's Fun Run + Learn campaign to promote the 17th Asian Games in Incheon, Korea, in 2014, includes a centre spread photo special, while regular features such as News Digest, Inside the OCA, Games Updates, News and Sports from Asia's 45 NOCs and the OCA Diary and Sponsors' Club complete the contents of the 16th edition of the OCA's quarterly newsletter.
