OCA invites NOCs to ‘one-day masters course’ at Incheon sponsorship summit

08 Jul 2014
Kuwait: National Olympic Committees in Asia will have the opportunity to expand and enhance their sponsorship programmes when the Olympic Council of Asia hosts the OCA Partnership Summit in Incheon, Korea, on the sidelines of the Asian Games. The Summit, which will be held under the auspices of the OCA President, HE Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah, will take place at Songdo Convensia on Sunday, September 21 – two days after the Opening Ceremony of the Incheon Asian Games.

Described as a “one-day masters course on how to supercharge your partnerships”, the Summit will involve presentations from industry specialists and action plans for NOCs to implement, as well as the chance for delegates to network extensively among fellow participants.

Each OCA member NOC is invited to send their Executive Director, top sponsorship executive and up to three sponsors or potential sponsors, making five invitations per NOC.

Around 300 people are expected to attend this first ever OCA Partnership Summit, which will include case studies from the NOCs of Brazil, Great Britain, Japan and the United States and also provide ideas on how best to utilize social media and modern sponsorship trends.

Registration opens at 7.45am for the 8.30am start and the Summit runs until 5.15pm. The Summit has been organised by sportsarts + AG Zurich and curated by IEG, LLC
