Jakarta, Indonesia, November 9, 2017: The organisers of the 18th Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia, next year are continuing on the Road to the Asian Games 2018 by holding a shooting test event.

The test event is being conducted by Asian Games organising committee INASGOC in association with Perbakin – the Indonesian Shooting Federation – and is familiarising athletes with the new international rules.

The shooting test event is being held from November 5-12 at two venues: the Shooting Field in Senayan, Jakarta, and The First Infantry Division Shooting Arena in Cilodog, Depok.

There are 148 national shooting athletes listed during this eight-day event.

The 18th Asian Games will run from August 18 to September 2, 2018, at Jakarta and Palembang – capital of South Sumatra province. There will be 40 sports and 462 events with some 10,000 athletes from the OCA’s 45 National Olympic Committees.
