Seoul, Korea: The 24th annual KOC Olympic Academy was held from November 1-4 at the national training center in Jincheon, reports the official website of the Korean Olympic Committee. Commemorating the 2012 London Olympics, 80 people participated, including college students, young professionals, sports workers and professors.
Under the theme of Olympism, KOC Culture, Environment and Sports Committee member Mr Kim Dong-Hwan lectured on Olympism and Athletics.
Mr Kim Young-Hwan - committee member - lectured on Yesterday and Today, Olympism and Education, and the special guest, Olympic badminton bronze medallist Mr Lee Yong-Dae, lectured on his competition experience and time at London 2012.
This year marked the 24th anniversary of the Korean Olympic Academy, which has been held since the 24th Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988. Participants of the KOC Olympic Academy continue to pursue the fundamental aims of the academy; which is the development of the Olympic Movement and the promotion of Olympism and the Olympic spirit and values.
