Nicol urges Facebook followers to gain ‘wings to fly’

08 Jan 2018
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, January 8, 2018: One of Asia’s most decorated athletes, Nicol David of Malaysia, is never slow to use her popularity and influence to promote worthy causes. The 34-year-old squash superstar from Penang, an eight-time World Open champion and now ranked sixth in the world, is adding her support to a charity clothing item to help children in shelter homes.

Posting Monday on her Facebook page, which has over 870,000 followers, Nicol said: “I am wearing Havan Clothing's new tee design ‘Wings to Fly’. “Created by delightful 9 year old Tasha, she wants everyone to know that each of you has wings to fly and, therefore, has the potential to do anything that you choose to do!

“You can support Havan Clothing by purchasing Tasha's ‘Wings to Fly’ tee and, for this design, 100% of the profit will be used to hire a new teacher for the shelter home kids in 2018.”
