Archers aim high with Olympic Solidarity support

Kuwait: Three Asian archers are among 10 worldwide who have been granted Olympic Solidarity scholarships to help them prepare for the 2012 London Olympic Games, reports the International Archery Federation. The scholarships last for two years and include all travel expenses for training camps and competitions in order to qualify for London 2012.

The three Asian archers are: Mark Pinili Javier (Philippines), Firuza Zubaydova (Tajikistan) and Gantugs Jantsan (Mongolia).  All the athletes have decided to prepare in their own country.
