OCA completes IT Audit work in Incheon

Incheon, Korea: The ninth and last OCA IT Audit was held in Incheon, Korea, from July 7 – 10. The auditors, Mr. Manuel Gonzalez and Mr. Alfonso Sanchez, reviewed with IAGOC and the main providers the progress of the IT and Telecommunication projects.

The auditors paid special attention during this audit to the evolution of the Installation and Venue Deployment Plans; Venue Technology; Test Events calendar and scope; Operations Plan and Training Programme for new operations staff; Disaster Recovery Test; User Acceptance and Homologation Tests and Risk Management.

The agenda included a site visit to the IT Command Centre for the Games, located in the Asiad Main Stadium, and the inspection of the IT and Telecommunication areas of some competition venues. 

The auditors felt very satisfied for the good preparation of all the sessions and the strong involvement of the main providers. The project’s development is progressing well according to the master plan.
