Afghan rugby team heads to India

Kabul, Afghanistan: The Khorasan rugby team has left Kabul for India to attend a training camp and play friendly matches. It is an independent club but registered with the National Olympic Committee of Afghanistan. According to a report by the National Olympic Committee to Bakhtar News Agency, 20 players and a coach are representing Afghanistan through the Khorasan club team.

After 15 days of training in Delhi, the team will play friendly matches against Indian rugby teams. According to the source, the Khorasan rugby team has been invited to India because of good relations between Afghanistan and India.
