Haiyang, China: If you have come to Haiyang to report on the 3rd Asian Beach Games, there is good news for all media participants: HABGOC has secured tickets for the opening ceremony on June 16 and closing ceremony on June 22 for all 400 Chinese and foreign media personnel. "HABGOC has done a great job to secure all those tickets for the media,” Mrs Wen Wen, Deputy Director of the Press Commission of the Chinese Olympic Committee, said in a joint media meeting between the OCA, COC and organising committee HABGOC on Thursday afternoon in the OCA HQ Hotel.

“The Haiyang Press and Publicity Department has put great effort into coordinating with different departments for those tickets in recognition of the important role the media plays in the promotion of the Games. It also reflects the internationalization of Haiyang. It is great for the Games and the city.”
Mrs. Jiang Xue Ning, Director of Press and Publicity Department of Haiyang Government, is confident in offering the best services possible to the media.

“We will do whatever we can to meet the needs of the media. I hope they will have a pleasant stay in Haiyang and report our Asian Beach Games to the world.” Ma Guo Qing, Deputy Director of the Shandong Administration of Sports Technology Promotion & Education Department, also attended today’s meeting.
