Daimler Street Football broadcast live in Bhutan

Thimphu, Bhutan: The Daimler Street Football Bhutan Tournament has received a big media boost as it is being broadcast live on national channel Bhutan Broadcasting Service (BBS). BBS has developed a special programme for the 2011 Daimler Street Football Project including production of a daily news clipping and live broadcasting of the semi-finals and final.

On Thursday, four semi-final matches (girls and boys) were broadcast live in the Kingdom of Bhutan.

Loselling Middle Secondary School came from behind three times and defeated Yangchenphug Higher Secondary School with a thrilling 4:3 score line in the girls division semi-final. Lungtenzampa became the second finalist after beating Changangkha Lower Secondary School by 4:2.

The girls' final will kick off at 10:30am on Sunday, April 24.

In the boys' division semi-finals, Pep City also come from behind and defeated Loselling Middle Secondary School in extra time 3:2, and Yangchenphug Higher Secondary School easily beat Lungtenzampa 6:2. The boys' final will also be on Sunday.
