NOC Mongolia shows pride in medal collection

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia: Mongolia NOC, in kind cooperation with the Development Centre for Sports Communication (DCSC) and Mongolian Olympians Association, has opened a first-ever exhibition entitled “Our Sporting Pride in the Language of Medals”  at the Central Art Gallery in Ulaanbaatar. The main purpose of the exhibition is to show the visitors all the original medals gained by Mongolia’s top athletes at Olympic Games and Asian Games, as well as World and Continental Championships.

Dr. D. Zagdsuren, NOC President, Mr. Ch. Naranbaatar, Chairman of the State Authority for Physical Education and Sport, Mr. Ts. Gankhuu-Abdul, President of DCSC, and some Olympic medal winners attended the opening ceremony and witnessed the 150 medals that brought glory to Mongolia on the    international stage.

Mongolia NOC has participated at 12 Olympic Games, since Tokyo 1964, and has captured two gold, seven silver and 10 bronze medals in wrestling, judo, shooting and boxing.
