CTOC President Thomas Tsai received the JOC delegation led by Secretary General Mr. Noriyuki Ichihara on September 4, 2012 after the 90th Anniversary Celebration of the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee.
Japan NOC delegation calls on CTOC

Taipei: A Japanese Olympic Committee delegation consisting of Secretary General Noriyuki Ichihara, committee member Jotaro Ueji and International Relations & Strategic Planning Department Chief Manager Senji Ishikawa called on the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee on Tuesday, September 4, for a cordial meeting.

They were received by CTOC President Thomas Tsai and Secretary General Kevin Chen. The two sides held fruitful discussions over subjects of common interest.

President Tsai took the opportunity to congratulate the JOC on the election of its President, Tsunekazu Takeda, as an IOC member at the recent IOC Session in London. President Tsai also wished the Japanese well in their bid to host the 2020 Olympic Games. The Japanese delegation visited Taipei to join in the 90th anniversary celebrations of the CTOC.
