PyeongChang 2018 sells 61 per cent of tickets

PyeongChang, Korea, December 27, 2017: Organisers of the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 in February have provided an update on ticket sales. As of Friday, December 21, overall ticket sales for the Olympic Winter Games was 61% - or 655,000. This total includes local and international sales.

Breakdown by sports categories/events:
- Alpine Skiing: 81%
- Bobsleigh: 70%
- Biathlon: 41%
- Cross-Country Skiing: 79%
- Curling: 68%
- Freestyle Skiing: 59%
- Figure Skating: 54%
- Ice Hockey: 55%
- Luge: 63%
- Nordic Combined: 47%
- Snowboard: 59%
- Ski Jumping: 53%
- Skeleton: 69%
- Speed Skating: 53%
- Short Track Speed Skating: 74%
- Opening Ceremony: 67%
- Closing Ceremony: 35%
