OCA Advisory Committee meets in Taipei

Taipei: The OCA Advisory Committee met in Taipei on Saturday under the chairmanship of Mr. Ng Ser Miang, who is also a vice president of the IOC. The members were of the unanimous opinion that 2013 will be a very important year as the IOC members will elect the new IOC President, new President of WADA, the host city of the 2020 Olympic Games and the host city for the 2018 Youth Olympic Games. 

The members were of the unanimous view that Asia, under the Presidency of HE Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah, should work in total solidarity and unity so that the interests of the Asian continent can be well voiced and protected within the Olympic Movement.

The members thanked Mr C.K.Wu, IOC Executive Board Member, and the Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee for the kind hospitality provided to the delegates and the excellent environment for the meeting.
