Tayyab to conduct hockey coaching course

Muscat, Oman: Mohammad Tayyab Ikram, Secretary of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) High Performance Committee, arrived here yesterday to conduct the FIH High Performance National Coaching Course, starting today. Tayyab, who is also a member of the Olympic Council of Asia and Secretary of the Asian Hockey Federation, was received at Muscat International Airport by Oman Hockey Association Chairman Dawood al Raisi and other dignitaries.

The Macau-based official, who is a FIH Master Coach and Head Course Conductor of the FIH, will hold both theoretical as well as practical sessions during the four-day course. The course will be held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Baushar with about 27 aspiring and experienced coaches expected to attend the sessions.
