Taipei, February 1, 2018: The Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee staged a flag presentation ceremony for the Chinese Taipei delegation to the 23rd Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018 on Thursday, February 1. Mr Te-Fu Lin, Director General of Sports Administration, presented the Chinese Taipei NOC flag to Mr Hong-Dow Lin, President of the CTOC and head of the delegation.

In addition, an orientation, including doping control guidelines, was given to attendees after the ceremony. The Chinese Taipei delegation consists of four athletes in speed skating and luge, which is quite commendable for a place where the temperature averages around 18-28 Celsius.

At the ceremony, the CTOC President encouraged athletes to make the best of the Winter Games and pursue excellence relentlessly with determination and resolve. The Games, which will run from February 9-25, will also serve as the best opportunity for Chinese Taipei athletes to gain international experience and strive toward future success.
