Daimler Street Football drives into Palestine

Hebron, Palestine: Daheria defeated Samoo 5-2 in the Palestine Daimler Street Football (DSF) final on Monday to win the championship. The two-day Palestine DSF attracted 12 teams with a total of 150 players. Beit Ummar, Samoo 2, Shabab AlKhalil and Daheria qualified for today’s semi-finals.

Palestine Football Federation President Major General Jibril Rajoub and the Olympic Council of Asia's Asian Games Director, Haider Farman, together with Hebron local officials, presented medals and trophies to the players and referees.

Mohamed Hawada, 12, from runners-up Samoo was awarded the tournament Most Valuable Player.
