Apart from medals and certificates, the winners Drukpa and runners-up YHSS won 30,000 Nu (715 USD) and 25,000 Nu (600 USD) prize money respectively in the open category. The cash prize for the school category winners Pep City and runners-up YHSS are 25,000 (600 USD) Nu and 20,000 Nu (475 USD).

Daimler Street Football is a joint project founded by the Olympic Council of Asia and Daimler in 2011, co-organised by OCA and its National Olympic Committees. The vision of Daimler Street Football Project is to inspire the youth and encourage a healthy lifestyle through sport.

Daimler Street Football in Bhutan also offers new sports facilities to the young sports enthusiasts. The pitches at Changlingmithang will remain open after the tournament, which will greatly help in engaging the youth to participate in sports activities to tackle the lack of playground in Thimphu.
