Tunisian sports minister impressed by Bahrain's sports medicine centre

Manama, Bahrain: Tunisia’s Minister of Youth, Sport, Women and Family, Saber Bouatay, praised the facilities at the Bahrain Olympic Committee’s National Sport Medicine Centre during a visit with other ministry directors and high-ranking officials. They were welcomed at the centre by BOC General Secretary Abdulrahman Askar and other committee representatives.

Askar briefed the visiting delegation on the services being provided by the centre to its clients as well as the quality of the sports equipment.

Askar acknowledged the long-standing coordination and cooperation between athletes of both countries and affirmed the continuity of this relationship between Bahrain and Tunisia in all domains, especially the sport field.

He stressed the importance of the visit as a catalyst to lay solid foundations for joint cooperation, affirming Bahrain's keenness on bolstering youth and sport relations.

Bouatay applauded Bahrain’s comprehensive development in sports infrastructure along with its ambitious strategy for development in all fields, especially sport, and pointed out the need to expand cooperation between the two countries in the sectors of youth and sport.

He also lauded Bahrain's success in hosting world championships, hailing the achievements of Bahraini youth on all levels. He also stressed the importance of developing youth and sport relations, organising joint programmes and exchanging visits.
