Nanjing, China: Led by Director General Husain Al-Musallam, an Olympic Council of Asia team arrived in Nanjing on Sunday evening for the start of a five-day, three-city Chinese tour. The itinerary also takes in Haiyang and Guangzhou. Nanjing will host the second Asian Youth Games in 2013, one year before the IOC’s second Youth Olympic Games in 2014, and Haiyang will stage the third Asian Beach Games in June 2012.

Guangzhou hosted the 16th Asian Games last November. The delegation also includes Zhang Jilong, Chairman of the OCA Sports Committee, and Vinod Tiwari, Manager of NOC and International Relations.

On Monday, the OCA delegation will meet with leaders of the Nanjing Municipal Government and take part in a coordination meeting. A press conference has been scheduled for noon.
