DPRK NOC President visits IOC

Lausanne, Switzerland, December 19, 2017: The President of the International Olympic Committee, Thomas Bach, received the President of the NOC of the Democratic People´s Republic of Korea, Kim Il Guk, at the IOC HQ in Lausanne. His visit was traditional protocol for a newly elected NOC President. Mr Kim, a former executive vice president of the NOC, was accompanied by NOC Executive Secretary O Chol Min and NOC member Ko Chol Ho.

*In other news from Lausanne, Indonesia NOC President Erick Thohir also visited the IOC President. 

Mr Thohir is also President of INASGOC - the organising committee for the OCA’s 18th Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia, next August 18 to September 2. President Bach and Mr Thohir discussed the current situation of the Indonesian Olympic Committee and the preparations for next year’s Asian Games.
