Paragliding test event on the road to 2018 Asian Games

Jakarta, Indonesia, August 15, 2017: The second test event on the road to the 18th Asian Games in Indonesia in 2018 has been completed. Following the triathlon test event last month, the second Asian Cup in paragliding took place from August 11-14 at Gunung Mas, Puncak, West Java, with almost 100 entries from 19 countries and regions.

The event was opened by INASGOC General Secretary Eris Herryanto and attended by the President of the Air Sports Federation of Asia, Mubarak Swailim, Federation of Aerosports International Executive Board member August Gudmunson and Indonesia NOC Executive Board member Harry Warganegara.

There will be six gold medals in paragliding at the 18th Asian Games, which will run from August 18 to September 2, 2018 in Jakarta and Palembang, capital of South Sumatra province.
