Kaohsiung, Taiwan: Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee’s Athlete Career Programme (ACP) came to a close on Sunday afternoon at the National Sports Training Centre in Kaohsiung.

A total of 85 athletes from several sports attended the two-day seminar, which included presentations from the CTOC’s Athletes’ Commission, ACP partner Adecco, the Olympic Council of Asia’s media department and IOC member Yang Yang, the former two-time Winter Olympic short track speed skating champion from China.

The seminar was held on Saturday and Sunday and followed the signing ceremony in Taipei on Friday between the CTOC and Adecco.

The main programme was conducted by Patrick Glennon, Senior Vice President for the IOC ACP and IPC ACP for Adecco Group.

Adecco works with NOCs and the IOC helping athletes make the transition from competitive sport to a career following retirement.

The last session of the seminar was led by former CTOC taekwondo athlete Ann Chen, who has built a successful soap producing business.
