QOC signs MoU with Ghanaian Ministry of Youth and Sport

As a move to boost mutual cooperation between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Ghana, HE Sheikh Saud bin Ali Al Thani, Vice President of Qatar Olympic Committee, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with HE Rasheed Hassan, the Ghanaian Minister of Youth and Sport, at QOC headquarters in Doha on Tuesday.

The MoU stipulates that the two organisations are on track to forge a constructive strategic cooperation through conducting mutual visits, data exchange, youth relations and achieving the objectives of the IOC.

Following the MoU signing ceremony, the QOC Vice President said Qatar was keen to open new channels of cooperation with the Republic of Ghana within this constructive strategic partnership, the aims of which are mainly to support the sports movement at Arab and Islamic level.

On his side, the Ghanaian guest lauded Qatar’s comprehensive development in all fields, alongside its high organisatonal skills and professional vision in hosting continental and international sport events.

At the end of the ceremony, the QOC Vice President and his Ghanaian guest exchanged souvenirs.
