Hong Kong NOC presents Asian Games bronze medals to men’s relay swim team

Hong Kong, China, August 29, 2015: The presentation ceremony for the additional bronze medal in swimming - the men’s 4x100m freestyle relay at the Incheon 2014 Asian Games - was held on Saturday, August 29 at the Victoria Park Swimming Pool on the occasion of the Hong Kong International Open Swimming Championships 2015 organised by Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association.

Due to the previous doping case of Park Tae Hwan, South Korea’s top swimmer, the Hong Kong men’s 4x100m freestyle relay team, which was originally ranked fourth, has been advanced to third place to win the bronze medals.

Mr Karl C Kwok, Chef de Mission of the Hong Kong, China Delegation to the Incheon 2014 Asian Games and Vice President of the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China, presented the medals on behalf of the NOC to the team: Kent Cheung Kin Tat,  Raymond Mak Ho Lun, Derick Ng Chun Nam, Jeremy Wong Chen Ho and David Wong Kai Wai. Geoffrey Robin Cheah was absent due to a prior commitment.
