China leads by nine gold medals going into AIMAG final day

Incheon, Korea: China will enter the final day of the 4th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Incheon, Korea, on Saturday nine gold medals clear at the top of the rankings with 17 gold medals still to be decided. At the close of play on Friday, China led the standings with 28 gold medals. Host Korea was second with 19, followed by Thailand (7), Kazakhstan (6) and Vietnam (4).

A total of 17 NOCs have won at least one gold medal, while 29 of the 44 NOCs competing have won one medal of any colour.

Korea still leads the way in total medals with 60 (19-25-16), ahead of China with 49 (28-11-10) and Kazakhstan on 27 (6-5-16).

China's 28 gold medals have come from Baduk (3), Billiard Sports (2), Chess (3), Dance Sport (6) and Swimming (14).
