AIPS lists Asian athletes of 2016

Date : 02 Jan 2017

Lausanne, Switzerland, January 2, 2017: The International Sports Press Association (AIPS) has published the leading athletes from 2016, chosen by National Sports Press Associations affiliated to AIPS. Many countries will choose their champions in January, but many others have already nominated the three male and three female athletes that best represented the nation in 2016.

AIPS, which was founded in 1924, wishes all the champions a prosperous new sporting season and a great year ahead, and for all the athletes around the world to overcome their limits and, in doing so, inspire fans, entire nations and the storytelling role of sports journalism.

With the help of our colleagues from AIPS Asia member countries, we present the stars of Asia in 2016 from China, Iran, Mongolia and Yemen.
