Doha, Qatar, July 11, 2019: Representatives from more than 80 National Olympic Committees attended the ANOC World Beach Games Chefs de Mission Seminar in Doha which came to an end on Thursday, July 11.
The three-day seminar arranged by the Organising Committee of the World Beach Games included a comprehensive briefing on preparations undertaken and a tour of proposed venues and the Athletes’ Village for the inaugural Games to be held from October 12-16.
At present, 84 NOCs from all five continents have qualified for the showpiece, and it is expected the final number will exceed 100.
In a statement, ANOC Secretary General Gunilla Lindberg said: “The Chefs de Mission Seminar is critical, not just allowing us to update the NOCs but also allowing us to hear their feedback and adapt our plans as needed to ensure the very best conditions for the athletes."
