The 43rd edition of Sporting Asia - December 2018 - looks at the performance of Asian athletes at the 3rd Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October, and highlights some of the rising stars around the continent.

We also profile two new IOC Members – HRH Prince Jigyel Ugyen Wangchuck, President of Bhutan Olympic Committee, and Samira Asghari of Afghanistan – and report on the 3rd OCA Athletes’ Forum in Tokyo and the annual meeting of the OCA Women and Sport Committee.

There is also special coverage of the ANOC General Assembly in Tokyo, with two pages on the ANOC Awards 2018 and Asian delegates on the Tokyo 2020 venue tour.

The 36-page Sporting Asia includes all the regular features, such as President’s Message, News in Pictures, Inside the OCA, Women in Sport, Asia’s Olympic Era, Obituary and OCA Sports Diary.
