Manama, Bahrain, May 15, 2019: A technical course for badminton coaches, organised by the Bahrain Olympic Committee in cooperation with the Bahrain Badminton and Squash Federation, is underway with 20 participants from Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Syria.
Scheduled to run until May 18 at Khalifa Sports City Hall in Isa Town, the course is supported by the International Olympic Committee’s Olympic Solidarity Commission and features theoretical and practical sessions.
It is being supervised by the BOC’s Arab and International Affairs Directorate with the aim of presenting the Olympic Solidarity programmes to all national sports federations so they can take advantage of the various courses on offer.
The technical course for badminton coaches is the latest in a series of Olympic Solidarity courses that the BOC has organised for a wide range of sports federations in recent years to prepare a group of qualified coaches with knowledge of modern coaching trends and experience.
