Tokyo, Japan, July 4, 2019: The Japanese Olympic Committee has issued a full list of the new leadership for the term 2019-2021. This follows the JOC Council meeting and Executive Board meeting on June27 when 1984 Los Angeles Olympics judo champion Yasuhiro Yamashita was elected new president.
In a circular to the IOC, ANOC, OCA and National Olympic Committees dated July 3, JOC Secretary General Tsuyoshi Fukui also provides details of the new JOC HQ following the move on May 27.
“We thank you for your continued cooperation and look forward to collaborating with you further in order to promote the Olympic Movement,” said Secretary General Fukui in the circular.
The new JOC leadership is:
