PyeongChang, Korea, February 5, 2018: The Olympic Truce Mural was unveiled on Monday at the PyeongChang Olympic Village ahead of the Winter Olympics from February 9-25, reports the Singapore National Olympic Council. Team Singapore’s Chef de Mission, Tan Paey Fern, joined the Olympic fraternity in pledging to protect the interests in sports and athletes.

She joined Village Mayor Ryu Seung-min, Olympic gold medallist, at the unveiling - a friend she has known since their competitive table tennis days.

Singapore is one of six National Olympic Committees making their Winter Olympic debut among 92 competing NOCs. Singapore’s lone athlete is short track speed skater Cheyenne Goh.
