South Asian Games is a multi-sport event organised by East Asian Games Association (EAGA) and held every four years since 1993 among athletes from East Asian countries.

Participating nations: People's Republic of China Guam, United States Hong Kong, China Japan DPR Korea (North Korea) Republic of Korea (South Korea) Macau, China Mongolia Chinese Taipei Kazakhstan is a former member of EAGA, however since it became an European Olympic Committee member, they do not take part in these Games anymore.

These countries and territories are mostly in the northern part of East Asia, and there is a similar event called the South East Asian Games for South East Asian countries.
